New: layers inside every visualizer

Layers Inside Every Visualizer

Hide or recolour a look's own snow, lights or tree, and add falling snow, fireworks, lanterns, string lights, light rays and fog on top. Every layer moves with your music, and your look saves as your own template.

Try it

Change a look, layer by layer

The panel is the same one Classic, Studio and Motion graphics use. Hide a layer with its eye, change its amount or colour, or add a new layer from the library.

Layers

Layers inside this visualizer: hide or change the look's own layers, or add snow, fireworks, lights and more on top.

The look's layers

  • Stars
  • Valley and cabins
  • Falling snow
  • Warm glow
  • Tree lights
  • Tree
  • Baubles
  • Topper star

Added layers (1/6)

Two kinds of layer

The look’s own, and the ones you add

The look’s own layers

What a visualizer already draws, named for what you see: Christmas’s falling snow, its tree, its lights. Hide any of them, turn them up or down, or give them a new colour. “Reset to the look” puts them back.

Added layers

Up to 6 per visualizer, from the library below. Each has four settings on its row and more under “More settings”, and draws behind the visual, in front of it, around it or as light that glows.

The library

Built from our visualizers

Every layer comes from a mark one of our visualizers already draws, so it looks at home in all of them.

  • Falling

Snow, leaves, petals or confetti falling in depth, around the visual.

Presets: Snow, Blizzard, Autumn leaves, Petals, Confetti

  • Glowing particles

Fireflies, embers, stardust, bokeh or sparkles that drift, rise or circle the visual.

Presets: Fireflies, Embers, Stardust, Bokeh, Sparkles

  • Fireworks

New Year's Eve's fireworks: shells that follow the song, bursting in the sky.

    Presets: Night fireworks, Beat fireworks

  • Lanterns

Paper lanterns rising into the sky, or a row hanging from the top.

    Presets: Sky lanterns, Hanging lanterns

  • String lights

Strings of bulbs across the frame that glow with the spectrum and chase on the beat.

    Presets: String lights, Party lights

  • Candles

A row of candles along the bottom, their flames flickering with the music.

    Presets: Candle row

  • Beat rings

Rings that open from the visual on the beat and fade away.

    Presets: Kick rings, Bar ripples

  • Light rays

Soft beams of light from the top, a corner or behind the visual.

    Presets: Spotlight, Sunburst

  • Atmosphere

Fog, haze, film grain or a vignette over or behind the visual. Never on the beat.

Presets: Night fog, Haze, Film grain, Vignette

Your own looks

Save a layered look as your own template

Layers save with your project, your templates, your community posts and your packs. In Classic, “Save as template” keeps a layered look in My templates, ready to start your next video from.

Visualizers with their own layers

Ready now

Added layers work on every visualizer. These also list their own marks as layers you can hide, scale and recolour; more join them engine by engine.
