Use them
Three steps in Classic
1. Open the Timeline
In Classic, press Timeline under the play bar, then Start a timeline. Add more songs with Add song.
2. Split where it changes
Move the playhead and press Change here: the new part gets its own look, so pick another visualizer or colour.
3. Pick the transition
Click the square where two parts meet and choose a transition, its length, or Use on every change.

Effects over the video
In the Timeline, Add effect lays one from the playhead for as long as you like. Each has a strength, and the ones marked Beat sync pulse on your song’s beat. Flashes stay photosafe: never more than three a second, never full white.
