Build a Visualizer with the Editor Timeline

The timeline keeps supported audio and visual elements on separate rows, so you can move or adjust one without flattening the rest of the project. Preview an asset before adding it, then use the canvas and inspector for the selected visual item.

Classic: add and switch visualizer parts

1. Open Timeline below the preview. Press Add visualizer part to place another visualizer look at the playhead.
2. Use the numbered clip switcher above the timeline to choose a part. Its full visualizer settings remain editable in the left Edit panel; audio controls are under Audio.
3. Open a library from the timeline toolbar. Preview music, sound effects, backgrounds, photos, overlays, transitions, intros and outros, then press its add/use button or drag an asset onto the timeline.
4. Select a visual item in the preview or timeline. Use Canvas on the right for frame size, fit and background settings, and Templates or Export for the other workspace panels.

Studio: manage layers and assets

• Open Assets to browse My library, the free library, or visualizer layer presets. Open Templates to search and preview a look before adding it.
• Drag a supported visual asset to the timeline or use its Add button. Each visualizer, image, overlay, or audio item keeps its own track where the Studio composition supports it.
• Select a visual layer to edit its canvas position, size, opacity, or other supported settings in the Inspector. Drag timeline rows to change layer order; move or trim a clip to change when it appears.
