Make a Kwanzaa music video or visualizer for free in your browser: the kinara's seven candles light one by one through your song, in six warm scenes. Step by step.
Kwanzaa runs from December 26, 2026 to January 1, 2027: seven days honouring family, community and heritage, one principle for each day. This guide shows how to make a music video or visualizer for it with the Kwanzaa template, free and in your browser.
A warm home scene at night: the kinara holding its seven candles, the mkeka (the woven mat), the harvest and the unity cup. The candles follow your song. With the default setting each new section of the song lights the next candle in the kinara's order: the black candle in the centre first, then a red candle on the left and a green one on the right, alternating outward. Every flame dances to its own part of the spectrum.
The woven bands in the scenes are original patterns inspired by strip weaving, not copies of any one cloth.

Candles lit sets the candles for one day of Kwanzaa instead of following the song. Pick the day you are posting on and that night's candles burn all the way through. The seven days honour Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba and Imani, in that order, so a short clip for each day is one song and seven exports.
The 2026 season has four holiday templates, and each has a guide like this one. Making videos for more than one? Start with the earliest and work forward.
Every look is on the Kwanzaa template page, and its guide lists every control with its range.
