Export a video from SW Agent's chat
Ask SW Agent in Classic to export your project: it says how long it will take on your device first, shows its progress and hands you the same file Classic's Export makes.
Describes Sonic Weaver v5.20, released .
Ask, and it says how long first
In Classic, open the SW Agent tab and ask, for example "export this project to a file" or "render my project as an mp4 file". Before anything renders it tells you how long the export will take: your song's length times this device's measured render speed, with the size and frame rate it will use. Then press Start the export.
How it knows how long
The first time, it renders a 2-second sample of your project with the same export and times it: how long the song takes to read, how many frames this device renders a second at that size, and how long the sound and the file take. That speed is kept on this device only, for each look, and every full export updates it, so the next estimate is closer. A speed measured on another look is used as a rough guide and says so.
The same file as Export
It renders through Classic's own export with your project exactly as the Export button would: the size and shape (capped on phones the same way), the frame rate, MP4 or WebM (WebM where your browser cannot make an MP4), the trim or the full song, your Timeline, and the optional Made with Sonic Weaver label. Every export on Sonic Weaver opens a sponsor tab when it starts, and this one does too.
Progress, stopping and the file
While it renders, the reply shows what it is doing and how far it has got, and Stop asks before it stops (nothing is saved and your project is unchanged). When it finishes the file downloads, as Export does, and stays in the chat with a Download button until you close the tab. It is listed in your SW Agent history and your export history.
Where it works
It needs Classic open with a song loaded, in a browser that can render video in the page (Chrome or Edge on a computer). On SW Agent's own page and in Studio it sends you to Classic's SW Agent tab instead, because only Classic holds your project there.
