Change anything in your project by asking SW Agent
In Classic or Studio, tell SW Agent what to change in plain words: any control of the look or a layer, the layers themselves, the frame rate, quality and file, the song's time and trim, undo and redo. It does it and says what it changed.
Describes Sonic Weaver v5.23, released .
Say it the way you would to a person
Open the SW Agent tab in Classic and say what you want changed, for example "make it a lot faster", "set the glow to 1.5", "make the primary colour red", "hide the logo layer", "move the particles to the top", "export at 60 fps" or "trim the song from 0:30 to 1:45". Several changes in one message are each done: "make it slower and hide the logo layer, then export in 4k".
What it can change
Any control of the main look or of a layer, by the name the editor shows (Speed, Glow, Sensitivity, Primary colour, Frequency focus and the rest): set it to a value or an option, turn it up or down a little, some or a lot, or put it back to its default. Layers: add one, duplicate it, remove it, show or hide it, set its opacity, its blend (normal, screen, overlay, plus lighter, multiply), its name and its place in the stack, and select it. The project: frame rate, export quality, MP4 or WebM, its name, the whole song or only the trim. And play, pause, jump to a time, trim the song, mute while you edit, open the Timeline, reset the look, clear the overlays, undo and redo.
Over time and with the music
Keyframe a control at a time on the song, such as "set the glow to 1.5 at 1:00" or "add a keyframe for speed at 0:30" (it keeps the value it has now). Make a control follow the music, such as "make the glow react to the bass" or "make the speed pulse with the beat" (the beat, the bass, the mids, the treble, the hits or the loudness), and "stop the glow reacting" to let it hold. Only controls the editors let you keyframe or bind to sound are changed this way; the reply says when one is not.
It checks before it changes
Every value is held to the control's own range and options, the same ones the editor's sliders and lists use. A value that does not fit is not guessed: the reply says the control's range or its options, and every other change in the message still happens. Each change is one step of undo.
Where it works
In Classic, everything above. In Studio, every control of every layer and the layers themselves (show, hide, fade, blend, rename, reorder, add, remove, select, a layer's mode), with one Undo taking a whole message back; a layer keeps its visualizer, and the frame rate, export and song are changed in Studio's own panels. Timeline clips, single captions, LFO motion, Studio's node graph, shape layers and layer groups are not changed by words yet.
