Build a playlist visualizer

Arrange songs, choose looks for each track or one look for the whole set, save a look package, then edit and export the shared Timeline project.

Describes Sonic Weaver v5.38, released .

Arrange your music

The Playlist builder makes one Classic Timeline section for each song. Add tracks from your device or Free music, preview them, change their order and remove any you do not want. The total runtime is the sum of the selected tracks; your audio stays on this device.

Choose how the visuals change

  • Pick a curated package to cycle its looks across songs, or choose a different visualizer for each song.
  • Turn on One visualizer for every song to use the same look throughout.
  • Save the looks you assigned as a browser-local package and apply it to another playlist on this device.
  • Choose the transition between songs and a landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16 or square 1:1 frame.

Finish in the editors

Open the project in Classic Timeline to edit sections and use Classic's Export controls for resolution, frame rate and format. Studio can open the project for its supported editing controls. In an open editor project, use the Playlist tool to append selected songs and looks to that project's Timeline. SW Agent can also build a playlist hand-off from the attached songs or apply a playlist to the connected editor project.

Long-export limitation

The browser export pipeline currently refuses Timeline exports longer than 30 minutes. A longer playlist can be arranged, but that does not mean it can be exported as one video yet. The 30-minute guard is intentional while the bounded-memory export path is unfinished; there is no setting that safely overrides it.

Recover your project files

Playlist audio is stored in this browser for the Classic hand-off. Keep the original audio files available: clearing site data or moving to another device can remove locally stored media. Add the files again if the editor reports missing audio.
