Find original music, sound effects, backgrounds and photos in the free assets library, check whether anything needs credit, and open them straight in Classic, Studio or the Thumbnail maker.
Before you start
The free assets library holds our own music, sound effects, backgrounds and photos, made for this site and free to use in anything you make. Everything that is ours needs no credit. Our music, backgrounds and photos are made with generative AI, and each one is labelled AI-generated. A few songs from SoundHelix are listed too; they are free but ask for a credit, and they say so.
Every asset's page has Use it in links. A background opens behind your visualizer in Classic, as a layer in Studio, or as the start of a thumbnail in the Thumbnail maker. A track opens as your song in Classic or Studio, or as the soundtrack of a motion graphic. A sound effect opens in the sound effects maker, where you can change it. Inside Classic, our backgrounds and photos are also in the Background Library section, one click each.
Signed in, press Save to your library on any asset's page. Your saved assets are listed under Saved assets in your library on every device, each one a click from its page; press the button again to take it out.
What no credit needed means
Our music, backgrounds and photos were made by us with openly licensed generative AI models (FLUX.2 [klein] for pictures, Wan 2.2 for the photos' loops, ACE-Step for music), checked for quality and reviewed before publishing; the sound effects are synthesised in your browser. Use them in videos, streams and posts, paid or not, without crediting anyone. The SoundHelix songs are the exception: copy their credit line into your description.
The files say they are AI-generated too, so a platform that reads that can label your post. Where a platform asks you to disclose realistic AI-generated content, these pictures and photos count.
