Message the team

Signed in, you can write to the Sonic Weaver team without leaving the site: choose what it is about (question, bug report, feature idea and other), give it a short subject and write your message. We read every one.

Find the form on the contact page, where it comes first when you are signed in, in Settings under Messages to the team, and under Message the team in your account menu, which also notes the page you were on.

You can also ask SW Agent: say "report a bug", "message the team" or "tell the developers the export stops halfway". It opens the form filled in with what you said (message_the_team) and sends nothing: you check it and press Send yourself.

A bug report can carry what helps us see what you saw. The form shows each part with its own checkbox before you send, and you can untick any of them: the page you were on, your browser and system, your screen size and sonic Weaver's version.

The page is only its path on this site, never what follows it in the address, and the code in an invite or recovery link is always hidden. Nothing is read until the form is open, and nothing is sent until you press Send. There are no attachments in this version: describe what you see, or add a link.

Our answer arrives in your notifications (answers from the team to your messages) and in Settings, Messages to the team, signed as the team. Each conversation shows whether it is waiting for us, answered or closed.

While a conversation is open you can write again in it, for example to answer a question we asked. When it is closed, start a new message and we will pick it up from there.

Only you and the Sonic Weaver team can read your messages. A subject is up to 120 characters and a message up to 4,000. You can start up to 10 conversations a day and add up to 30 messages to one conversation a day.

The site's owners are told that a message arrived, in the site and, when our mail is on, by email; the email never carries your words. Your conversations are in your data export and are deleted with your account.

Signed out, the contact page's email form opens a message to our address in your own email program, or you can email us directly. Sign in first if you want the answer in the site.
